Led by Team Principal Professor Richard Hopkins, Sunswift Racing is an organisation with a multi-faceted team. This includes Academics, a Senior Leadership Team, Executive Leadership Team, and Undergraduate Students. With over 80 committed members, the team brings together students from STEM, design, business, and media disciplines. This broad collaboration ensures that every aspect of vehicle development and communication progresses seamlessly.

The development of a car from scratch is only possible through the support of a wide network - including industry partners, sponsors, and long-time friends of the team. Whether it’s through technical expertise, materials, funding, or mentorship, each contribution plays a crucial role. Our vehicles bring together innovations in composite manufacturing, solar array design, and large-scale cloud technologies, all made possible by this collaborative ecosystem.
