Last Wednesday 1st July while the majority of the team were building Sunswift IV Caitlin, Clara, Helga, Alex, Dan and Cameron headed to Cameron's old school Knox Grammar in Wahroonga.

The team had the opportunity to share our passion for solar racing with every highschool student from year 7 to 12, the presentation began with an educational powerpoint created by the team especially for the event which included a brand new 5 minute promotional video filmed by Cameron's friend David Field and assembled by our Marketing Team.  The team were then followed by a small presentation from Mark Gadd of Autonomous Energy.

From there the students headed out to Knox Grammar's footy field where they saw Sunswift III first hand, learnt about races and solar cells. At lunch time the students were able to see the car drive around the oval thanks to a visit from Campbell and Dave who ensured all the car's components were safe and functioning at their peak.

The UNSW Solar Racing Team would like to thank Knox Grammar School for their hospitality and for organising three media visits including local paper the Hornsby Advocate.  Knox Grammar will also be sponsoring the team and our 2009 World Solar Challenge race campaign.
