UNSW Sunswift II was once again on display for the Award Ceremony of the AGL Sustainable Living Competition held at UNSW. Our car created a lot of interest among the students who attended the presentation.
The AGL Sustainable Living Competition is a national competition which rewards high school students for environmental projects undertaken in the classroom or individually. Free support and resources are available to assist teachers and students tackling environmental issues, and each year there are more than $30,000 worth of prizes to be won.
The competition seeks to encourage original and inventive solutions to environmental problems and rewards key learning outcomes such as group work or individual achievement, problem solving, design innovation, research and investigation and communication.
The Faculty of the Built Environment at UNSW is a principal supporter of the competition, as well as being an educational sponsor of the UNSW SRT.
