VICTORY IS OURS

Our world record attempt for the fastest electric vehicle over 500km on a single charge was a huge success, though subject to homologation from the FIA (Federale Internationale de l’Automobile). The record attempt was held at the Australian Automotive Research Centre near Anglesea, Victoria and was overseen by CAMS (Confederation of Australian Motor Sport).

WHAT THIS MEANS

The significance of this record is that our car eVe can do what no other electric car in the world can – it can travel at high speeds over 100km/h for long distances. One of the greatest limitations of commercial electric cars is what is known as ‘range anxiety,’ or rather a fear of running out of power mid-trip. This record erodes that fear and epitomises what can be possible. We believe this record will push industry to follow suit and further improve the commerciality of electric cars.
