As part of the 2009 race campaign, the team launched Sunswift Open Source, a project to foster cooperation and innovation between teams. The goal of the project is to release all of our design documentation in the months following the World Solar Challenge.

Currently released projects include our maximum power point tracker control board, our tyre pressure monitoring system, USBCAN development and debugging tools, our GPS, Barometer and RTC node, and our steering wheel.
