| | | | | | Darwin...finally. In total, it took six days and nights to drive from Sydney to Darwin. We were quite looking forward to a decent shower and meal when we arrived at the Darwin city limits late in the afternoon yesterday. We started the morning in Dunmarra, where we took a few photos, including this team photo. We were reminded of our Dean of Engineering. On the way, we stopped at the Adelaide River Inn for a famous all-you-can-eat Barramundi and chips (a.k.a. fish and fries). The restaurant definitely lived up to it's reputation. When we reached the Darwin city limits, we had to stop to settle a debt that Sammy had with Dave Snowdon and a former Sunswift member, Shane Stone. Sammy promised to "personally carry two deck chairs into Darwin" if Dave and Shane could get our experimental solar cell encapsulation technique to work... We're just getting our workshop set up in Darwin, at the Northern Territory University. Tune in about two days from now for more pictures, stories, and other fun bits... Willy The Whale Willy!
