| | | | | | After arriving in Adelaide on Monday, the team has made itself at home in its accommodation at the Highway One Caravan Park. Tuesday was a day for work on the car, fixing many of the little niggles to get it just right for racing. This morning we took the car out on the road for some testing to make sure everything was working, and to gain some data on vehicle performance. After stopping off for a quick shopping trip we made our way out to the highway. While we prepared the car for driving Robyn showed that fluoro yellow is definitely her colour, Christoph got a workout pumping up the car's tyres and Andrew our project leader demonstrated his flexibility. With the dark rain clouds and sporadic rainfall we didn't get much energy from our solar array, but running mainly on our batteries we were able to make our way north of Adelaide towards Port Augusta before turning around before we'd completely flattened our pack. Back at the caravan park it was time for more work on UNSW Sunswift II. As always work continued well into the night, with an enormous number of insects and the occasional spider to keep us company. Willy the Whale, the team's mascot, even joined us after being packed away for most of the trip. Willy The Whale Willy!
